These Danish tin earrings are embossed and lithographed with bold colors.. They are lightweight like most of my vintage tin earrings. Lever back earwires are brass that is lead and nickel-free. Expect some imperfections such as light scratches and oxidized backs as these are from vintage metal cans, most of which are over 50 years old.
My method: I hand cut the metal pieces, edges are sanded and then oxidized. A protective wax coating is applied to front and back of tin pieces as a final step.
Care: Avoid bathing and swimming with tin earrings as they prefer to be dry. They can be rinsed with water and gently wiped dry with a microfiber cloth. Despite the protective wax coating, take care not to store where they may be scratched.
